The Hampton Roads Black Business Expo is one component of the 2nd annual Virginia Black Film Festival, which begins on Juneteenth and last throughout the weekend with Film Screenings, Expert Panels, Celebrity Guests, and an exclusive Awards Gala, in addition to the Black Business Expo. This entire event will be the place to celebrate Juneteenth in Hampton Roads and Buy Black, by supporting Black Businesses and Black Filmmakers!
The Black Business Expo will take place Saturday and Sunday (June 21-22nd) inside the American Theatre 125 E. Mellen Street, Hampton, VA 23663, co-located with the movie screenings and panels of the film festival. Load-in for exhibitors will take place on Friday (and Saturday for those exhibiting only on Sunday).
The exhibition hall consists of two adjoining salons; Salon A (closest to the main entrance) and Salon B. Each salon will feature rows of 6-foot tables with plenty of walking space between the rows. Backdrops and additional pop-up adornments for your booth are permitted and encouraged. Admission to the expo is free for the general public. The cost of booth rental is $200 for a single day and $300 for the entire weekend. (These are early bird prices which will increase closer to the event.)
